These general terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Shari Iskandar – Acupuncture, Coaching & Yin Yoga, whether online or offline. By booking an appointment or purchasing services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

The practice offers acupuncture, coaching and yin yoga services.
These services are complementary to conventional healthcare and do not replace medical advice or treatment. For serious health concerns, please consult a licensed physician.

All sessions are by appointment. The therapist uses information provided by the client; incomplete or inaccurate information can affect treatment outcomes.

2. Appointments & Cancellation

  • Appointments can be scheduled via the online booking system, email, or WhatsApp.

  • You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

3. Fees & Payment

  • Current service fees are listed on the website.

  • Invoices are sent by email after the session and must be paid within the stated term.

  • Unless agreed otherwise, payment is made after the session.

  • Coaching packages must be paid in advance as agreed.

4. Insurance Reimbursement

  • Acupuncture consultations are VAT exempt.

  • Depending on your supplementary health insurance, Acupuncture sessions may be partially or fully reimbursed; always check with your insurer.

  • Reimbursement does not affect your statutory deductible. 

5. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website.
By using services, you agree to the data practices described in the privacy policy.

6. Liability

  • The therapist provides services with care and professionalism, but does not guarantee specific results.

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate and timely information relevant to their treatment.

  • The therapist is not liable for damage caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client. 

7. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please discuss this with the therapist first. If an agreement cannot be reached, you may contact an independent complaints officer. The practice is affiliated with the VBAG complaints procedure (see: www.vbag.nl/consument/klachten-en-geschillen/).

8. Amendments

I reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version is always available on www.shari-iskandar.com.

Algemene voorwaarden.

Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn van toepassing op alle diensten die worden aangeboden door Shari Iskandar – Acupunctuur, Coaching & Yin Yoga, zowel online als offline. Door een afspraak te maken of een dienst af te nemen, ga je akkoord met deze voorwaarden.

1. Dienstverlening

De praktijk biedt acupunctuur, coaching en yin yoga aan.
De cliënt erkent dat deze diensten een aanvulling zijn op reguliere gezondheidszorg en geen vervanging zijn van medische zorg. Bij (ernstige) gezondheidsklachten wordt aanbevolen een arts of specialist te raadplegen.

Alle afspraken zijn op afspraak. De therapeut werkt met de informatie die door de cliënt wordt verstrekt. Onjuiste of onvolledige informatie kan van invloed zijn op de behandeling.

2. Afspraken en annuleren

  • Afspraken kunnen worden gemaakt via het online systeem, per e-mail of WhatsApp.

  • Een afspraak kan kosteloos tot 24 uur van tevoren worden geannuleerd.

  • Bij annulering binnen 24 uur of bij niet verschijnen (no-show) wordt het volledige tarief in rekening gebracht.

3. Prijzen en betaling

  • De actuele prijzen staan vermeld op de website.

  • Facturen worden na de sessie per e-mail gestuurd en dienen binnen de vermelde termijn te worden betaald.

  • Betaling is standaard achteraf, tenzij anders overeengekomen.

  • Coachingpakketten dienen vooraf betaald te worden zoals afgesproken.

4. Vergoedingen

  • Acupunctuurconsulten zijn vrijgesteld van BTW.

  • Afhankelijk van de aanvullende zorgverzekering kunnen acupunctuur sessies (gedeeltelijk) worden vergoed; controleer dit altijd zelf bij je verzekeraar.

  • Vergoeding heeft geen invloed op je wettelijk eigen risico (zie jouw verzekering). 

5. Privacy en gegevens

De praktijk verwerkt persoonsgegevens conform de AVG/Privacyverklaring zoals gepubliceerd op de website.
Door gebruik te maken van diensten ga je akkoord met de verwerking van je gegevens zoals beschreven in de privacyverklaring.

6. Aansprakelijkheid

  • De therapeut handelt met zorg en professionaliteit, maar geeft geen medische garanties.

  • De cliënt draagt zelf verantwoordelijkheid voor het correcte en tijdige verstrekken van informatie die relevant is voor de behandeling.

  • De therapeut is niet aansprakelijk voor schade als gevolg van onjuiste of onvolledige informatie van de cliënt. 

7. Klachten

Bij klachten wordt eerst geprobeerd dit in goed overleg op te lossen. Indien dit niet lukt, kan een onafhankelijke klachtenfunctionaris worden ingeschakeld. De praktijk is aangesloten bij de klachtenregeling van de VBAG (zie: www.vbag.nl/consument/klachten-en-geschillen/).

8. Wijzigingen

Ik behoud me het recht voor deze voorwaarden te wijzigen. De meest recente versie is altijd gepubliceerd op www.shari-iskandar.com.
